The theme for our 2026 yarn club is Backpacker!

This listing is for the annual 12-month yarn club subscription option, available in January only.

Each quarter we'll be visiting a different city, region, or country in Western Europe through three months apiece of variegated colorways. I've been on a ton of cool little trips in Western Europe throughout the last decade. It's a super easy (and often cheap!) trip from where I'm at on the East Coast, and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to explore so many lovely cities and landscapes! So grab your passport, pull on your hiking boots or load your Eurail pass and come discover lovely new locales with us through yarn and color!

 

Annual 12-Month Subscription Details:

  • 1 skein per month of yarn in the base of your choice

  • 15% discount for 12-month subscribers (also applies to additional skeins purchased through the subscription page in your customer account)

  • Subscriptions charge monthly on the 8th of each month, except for January, when you are charged at signup.

  • Shipping charged separately and calculated at checkout.

  • This is NOT a mystery yarn club. We will reveal the colorway on the first of each month via newsletter, website and social media before you are charged!

  • You may add skeins or change bases within your customer account during the 1-7th monthly preorder window.

  • You may pause/skip/cancel your subscription at any time, as many times as you like, within your customer account. Cancellations are final.

All club yarns will ship by the end of their corresponding month. January Backpacker Club ships by January 31, February Backpacker Club ships by February 28, and so on.

International shoppers are welcome to subscribe to the annual club as well! Just keep in mind the yarn will ship each month so you will be charged each month for shipping if you go this route.

Care Instructions

To keep finished objects looking their best, hand-wash in cool water and lay flat to dry.

Each skein is hand-washed thoroughly after dyeing, but please keep in mind that minimal bleeding or crocking can still occur on first wash. A prewash is recommended for projects using multiple colors, especially saturated colors.

As with all hand-dyed yarns, especially plant fibers, slight variations should be expected between batches and even within dye lots. We strongly advise purchasing all skeins for a project at the same time to ensure they come from the same dye lot. It is also best practice to alternate skeins as you work.
